Job description

Our client, a leading player in the Marine and Oil & Gas sector, is seeking experienced FCAW Welders to join their team. You will be involved in various projects within a large fabrication unit.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Flux Cored Arc Welding (FCAW) to meet the quality and production requirements
• Read and interpret technical drawings and welding procedures
• Ensure the proper usage and maintenance of welding equipment
• Conduct visual inspections to ensure the quality of welds

Job Requirements

• Significant experience as a Welder, FCAW
• Must hold relevant 6G FCAW in-date private codings
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and welding procedures
• Excellent knowledge of welding techniques, equipment, and materials
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team

This is a contract position with an initial duration of 6 months, with a likelihood of extension to 1 year or more.

You will be guaranteed 60 hours per week and receive a competitive pay rate for all hours worked (through Umbrella/CIS).

In addition, you will receive a £45 per night accommodation allowance and a £200 per month travel allowance.
