Job description

Our client, a leading technology company, is seeking a skilled Cyber Programme Manager to join their team on a contract basis. As a Cyber Programme Manager, you will play a crucial role in the company's cyber security initiatives, ensuring the protection and integrity of their IT systems. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to the advancement of cyber security within a cutting-edge technology organization.

You will be responsible for the management and successful delivery of the overall programme. Working in collaboration with the Programme and Project Management Office, the CIO Department, Information Security/Cyber Department and the Transformation Department, you will be responsible for controlling the overall programme budget and its allocation to programme objectives and projects as appropriate. You will play a key role in the governance of the programme's projects and actively manage its risks and dependencies as well as providing direction and leadership to the project managers working on the programme.

You will deliver effective stakeholder communication and engagement throughout the programme lifecycle, driving awareness and desire for the change and to ensure that enduring change is embedded across the organisation.

You will ensure that the programme adheres to our internal corporate governance, reporting and risk management processes and that outputs comply with quality, security and regulatory requirements.

Key Skills & Experience

• Experience of leading successful Cyber and Information Security programmes across large organisations
• Advanced level certification in programme management methodology (e.g. MSP) desirable
• Extensive project management experience, knowledge and skills
• Experience of leading the turnaround of a troubled programme or substantial project
• Strong stakeholder and supplier management expertise
• Excellent communication and engagement skills
