JOB SUMMARY

We have a great contract opportunity for an experienced E&I Supervisor to be responsible for overseeing all works carried out by the electrical team within a food and beverage environment.

KEY SKILLS

  • NVQ educated in relevant Electrical Engineering or similar.
  • City and Guilds 2391 (or equivalent) in Electrical Testing and Inspection
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • Extensive experience of site E&I activities ideally in Food & Beverages but will consider Oil & Gas, PetroChem, Pharmaceutical or other regulated industry.
  • Familiarity with relevant legislative requirements, CDM, Temporary Works, ATEX, Electricity at Work Regulations and compliance to Client Engineering standards


JOB DESCRIPTION

Location: North Ayrshire

As an Electrical Supervisor, you will need to be able to demonstrate experience in Electrical Installation Works, Managerial Roles and Electrical Engineering. Supervisors directly supervise all site work activities. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the work carried out by the electrical team including planning and developing work schedules.

Duties included within this role, but not limited to the following:

  • Assisting of scoping work activities and engaging with the Client's representatives as required.
  • Engage in internal audit programmes in support of the Contract.
  • Ability to work on challenging timelines and have the agility to readily switch focus when priorities change.

PREFERRED / DESIRABLE SKILLS

  • CCNSG Safety Passport
  • CITB - SSSTS or similar.
  • IOSH Managing Safety Cert
  • Extensive (10+ years) experience of site E&I activities in Oil & Gas, PetroChem, Pharmaceutical or other regulated industry.
  • Time served Electrical Apprenticeship.
  • COMPEX 1-4 & 5-6


Our client is offering a competitive hourly rate of £23 - £25 per hour for this contract role.
