Job Title: Mechanical Repairs Technicians / Repairs Testers (x8)
Location: Titchfield
Contract: Long‑term PAYE (to December 2026)
Due to the nature of the role, applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK and adhere to ITAR restrictions.
Hours: Mon-Thu: 07:30-16:15 | Fri: 07:30-11:30 | 37 hours per week
Pay Rates (PAYE)
Current: Basic £18.72 | £21.44 inc. hol | OT £28.08 | £32.16 | Sun £37.44 | £42.88
After 12 Weeks: Basic £19.29 | £22.09 inc. hol | OT £28.93 | £33.14 | Sun £38.58 | £44.18
OT: x1.5 (37hrs & Sat) | x2 (Sun & BH) | Holiday: 33 days / included
The Opportunity
We're recruiting 8 positions (6 Mechanical Repairs Technicians, 2 Repairs Testers) to support a growing aerospace facility in Titchfield. With a move to a brand‑new site underway, this is a great opportunity to join a high‑performing team on a long‑term programme.
What You'll Be Doing
- Test, diagnose and validate mechanical, electrical and pump units
- Strip, repair and rebuild components to aerospace standards
- Operate test rigs and diagnostic equipment
- Record accurate test data (manual & electronic)
- Identify and resolve technical faults
- Support continuous improvement activities
- Work closely with engineers and wider teams
What You'll Need to Succeed
Essential:
- Experience in testing and fault diagnosis
- Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Experience with component adjustment or fine machining
Desirable:
- Aerospace, MOD or high‑integrity repairs experience
- Experience with hydraulics or rotating equipment
- Familiarity with motors, pumps or generators
Qualifications:
- BTEC Level 2/3 in Engineering (or equivalent)
- City & Guilds / National Certificate (beneficial)
