Our client is currently seeking a Senior / Associate Civil Engineer to join their team in Cardiff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the technical delivery of a portfolio of projects
  • Ensuring the quality and accuracy of engineering work to the highest standards
  • Managing the quality of designs and commercial performance of projects
  • Supporting and managing staff within the design team
  • Engaging confidently with clients and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Undertaking technical design work and reporting
  • Contributing to the design of drainage, highways, and civil infrastructure
  • Understanding adoption procedures for highway authorities and water utilities

Job Requirements:

  • Experience in civil engineering, particularly in drainage, highways, and civil infrastructure
  • Knowledge of adoption procedures for highways and water utilities
  • Proficiency in Micro Drainage, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office software
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Chartered status is desirable, though candidates with significant equivalent experience are welcomed
  • Current UK driving license required
  • Additional attributes such as client management, marketing skills, and ability to speak Welsh are advantageous but not essential
