Our client is recruiting a CNC Brake Press Operator to join their busy manufacturing facility supporting the electronics industry. This is a long‑term opportunity with consistent, repeat work, and the potential to move from temporary to permanent employment.
Previous CNC Brake Press experience is desirable but not essential. Full training can be provided for candidates with the right attitude and some basic fabrication or sheet‑metal experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating CNC Brake Press machinery (training provided where required)
- Working with sheet metal ranging from 0.7mm to 3mm thickness
- Producing high‑quality, repeat parts with excellent accuracy
- Interpreting basic engineering drawings
- Working collaboratively as part of a production team

Pay Rates & Working Hours
PAYE Pay Rate
- £15.00 - £16.00 per hour
- Plus holiday pay: £1.81 - £1.93 per hour
- Holiday pay can be accrued or taken in advance
- Rates negotiable depending on experience
Standard Hours
- Monday to Thursday
- 07:00 - 17:30
- 40 hours per week
- 30‑minute unpaid lunch break
Overtime
- Fridays available
- First 8 hours at x1.5
- Over 8 hours at x2
