Our client, is currently seeking a Highway Project Manager to join their team on a contract basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and lead the project management process, encouraging teams to deliver the right solutions to the agreed programme and mentoring less experienced members.
  • Prioritising client satisfaction through building and maintaining strong relationships with the client and colleagues to ensure effective co-ordination.
  • Managing resources effectively, including remote resources, to meet fluctuating workloads.
  • Working with clients and design teams to deliver compliant designs on time and within budget, meeting H&S, CDM, QA, and technical review requirements.
  • Developing relationships with other teams to utilise additional resources as required.
  • Agreeing fees and managing the commercial position on projects.
  • Producing project controls reports to meet client and business requirements.
  • Developing, maintaining, and implementing stakeholder management plans.
  • Ensuring invoicing and cash collection is undertaken in accordance with business processes and procedures.

Job Requirements:

  • Experience of working within the Civils/Highways sector in either project management, business administration, or financial planning.
  • Experience in managing a range of project management activities, systems (including enterprise resource planning), and processes.
  • Strong organisational skills and excellent communication abilities.
  • Knowledge of Construction Design Management 2015 and associated duties.
  • Experience in project and resource management with good financial and commercial awareness.
  • Knowledge of NEC 4 contracts is desirable.
