Our client, a prominent company in the Transmission & Distribution (T&D) sector, is seeking Overhead Linesmen to join their team on a contract basis in Cambridgeshire.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working on UK Power Networks (UKPN) projects, specifically focusing on 11kv pole work
- Installing, maintaining, and repairing overhead power lines and associated equipment
- Conducting routine inspections and ensuring compliance with safety standards
- Identifying and addressing potential issues with overhead lines
- Collaborating effectively with team members to complete projects efficiently
- Ensuring all work is carried out to UKPN standards and LE1 UKPN ticket requirements
- Maintaining accurate records of work performed
Job Requirements:
- Experience in overhead line work, particularly with 11kv poles
- LE1 UKPN ticket is mandatory
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures in the T&D industry
- Ability to work effectively in a team and manage time efficiently
- Good physical condition and ability to perform manual labour tasks
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
