Our client BAE Systems, a specialist in the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking two Production Planners to join their team in Portsmouth. This role is offered on a 10-month contract basis, working full-time onsite.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and maintaining detailed production schedules
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of project milestones
- Monitoring production processes and adjusting schedules as necessary to accommodate changes
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and regulations
- Coordinating with suppliers and vendors to manage materials and inventory
- Analysing and reporting on production performance and efficiency
Job Requirements:
- Experience in production planning, preferably within the Defence & Security sector
- Proficiency in relevant production planning software
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work full-time onsite in Portsmouth
