We are working exclusively with a prominent company in the nuclear sector, who is currently seeking a Risk Manager for a contract position. This role involves interacting with senior stakeholders and shaping the organisation's approach to risk tools and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implementing and managing risk tools within the organisation
  • Shaping and maintaining risk reporting processes
  • Collaborating with senior stakeholders to enhance risk management strategies
  • Supporting the down-selection and adoption of new risk management tools
  • Providing comprehensive risk assessments and monitoring risk exposure
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations
  • Offering expert guidance on risk-related matters
  • Contributing to continuous improvement of risk practices within the nuclear industry

Job Requirements:

  • Experience in risk and compliance management
  • Hands-on experience using PRA or a comparable risk management tool/platform
  • Proven capability in supporting the down-selection and adoption of new risk tools
  • Ability to operate confidently with senior stakeholders
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Understanding of the nuclear industry and its specific risk challenges
  • Relevant qualifications or equivalent experience in risk management

About the Contract:

  • 6-month initial contract
  • Potential for extension based on project needs and performance
