We are working exclusively with a prominent company in the nuclear sector, who is currently seeking a Risk Manager for a contract position. This role involves interacting with senior stakeholders and shaping the organisation's approach to risk tools and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implementing and managing risk tools within the organisation
- Shaping and maintaining risk reporting processes
- Collaborating with senior stakeholders to enhance risk management strategies
- Supporting the down-selection and adoption of new risk management tools
- Providing comprehensive risk assessments and monitoring risk exposure
- Ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations
- Offering expert guidance on risk-related matters
- Contributing to continuous improvement of risk practices within the nuclear industry
Job Requirements:
- Experience in risk and compliance management
- Hands-on experience using PRA or a comparable risk management tool/platform
- Proven capability in supporting the down-selection and adoption of new risk tools
- Ability to operate confidently with senior stakeholders
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Understanding of the nuclear industry and its specific risk challenges
- Relevant qualifications or equivalent experience in risk management
About the Contract:
- 6-month initial contract
