Our client BAE Systems, a prominent player in the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking a Process Engineer to join their team in Glascoed on a contract basis. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to innovative projects within the Land Sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing process engineering activities to ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements
- Developing and optimising processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive project success within the Defence & Security sector
- Providing technical guidance and support to ensure project deliverables are met
- Conducting risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategies
- Preparing detailed technical reports and documentation
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and advancements in process engineering
- Ensuring adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations
Job Requirements:
- Core expertise in Process Engineering
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience in the Defence & Security sector would be beneficial but not essential
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in preparing and presenting technical reports
- Understanding of risk assessment and mitigation processes
- Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification
