Our client, a distinguished consultancy in the developement infrastructure sector, is presently looking for a Senior Civil Engineer to join their team on a contract basis in Bristol. This role focuses on mainly residential infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading and managing civil engineering projects related to highways and drainage
- Utilising Civil 3D or Site 3D software to design and model infrastructure projects
- Preparing and processing S104 and S278 agreements
- Designing and analysing drainage systems, ideally using FLOW or InfoDrainage software
- Producing and reviewing detailed engineering drawings and plans
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project delivery
- Managing project timelines and ensuring adherence to deadlines
- Providing technical guidance and support to junior engineers
Job Requirements:
- Experience in civil engineering, specifically within highways and infrastructure
- Proficiency in Civil 3D software or Site 3D
- Familiarity with FLOW or InfoDrainage software is desirable
- Strong understanding of S104 and S278 agreements
- Excellent project management and organisational skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work remotely or from the office as required
- Relevant degree in civil engineering or an equivalent qualification
