Are you detail-oriented with a passion for laboratory work? We're working with a market-leading R&D organisation near Southampton who are looking for a QC Laboratory Technician to join their team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge product and process development, supporting quality assessment and helping drive innovation.
The Role
You'll play a key part in the quality control laboratory, supporting the full product lifecycle through:
- Sample receipt, preparation, analysis and reporting
- Operating and calibrating laboratory equipment in line with SOPs and methods
- Working to Best Laboratory Practice (BLP) standards
- Assisting in the development and validation of new methods and procedures
- Supporting ongoing product and process improvement activities
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
- Degree qualified in a suitable Science discipline (Chemistry preferred)
- Highly detail-focused and organised
- IT literate with strong data handling skills
- A clear communicator with good time management
- Experienced in laboratory environments (GCMS experience desirable but not essential)
What's On Offer
- £17.89 per hour (PAYE)
- 35-hour working week (Monday to Friday)
- Initial contract until the end of the year, with a strong likelihood of extension based on workload
