Key Responsibilities:
- Inspecting building sites to ensure compliance with statutory regulations and building codes
- Assessing plans, specifications, and construction practices to verify compliance
- Issuing notices and reports related to building inspections
- Providing expert advice to builders, developers, and property owners
- Investigating complaints and conducting follow-up inspections as required
- Maintaining accurate records of all inspections and findings
- Collaborating with the Building Control team to ensure consistency in service delivery
- Staying updated with changes in building regulations and industry best practices
Job Requirements:
- Experience in Building Control within the construction industry
- Registered Building Inspector - Class 2F certification
- Strong understanding of statutory regulations and building codes
