Role details:
Our client is looking for Senior Quantity Surveyors to support the QSSP Programme for the Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO). This contract role will be active until June 2027, with a primary focus on ensuring cost efficiency and compliance within various UK-based US Airforce sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing pre- and post-contract services including estimating, cost planning, and procurement
- Ensuring commercial management and financial control across multiple projects
- Leading projects or commercial teams, as applicable
- Mentoring and developing colleagues within the team
- Contributing to winning new work and shaping bids
- Representing our client at industry events
- Participating in regular on-site and remote activities
- Maintaining high standards of NEC3 contract compliance
Job Requirements:
- Experience in quantity surveying and commercial management
- Strong understanding of NEC3 contracts
- Security clearance (SC) required upon application
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Proficiency with tools such as CostX or CEMAR advantageous
- Experience within infrastructure, utilities, or public sector projects desirable
- Leadership or management experience, particularly for senior roles
- Motivated to progress and take on new challenges
The role requires remote work with occasional visits to primary locations such as Lakenheath, Menwith, Croughton, Fairford, and Mildenhall.
