Leading global technology and consulting firm, is currently seeking a Risk Manager to join their team in London on an initial 16-month Fixed Term Contract. This role is integral to a recently secured 7-year project working with a major transportation client, focused on establishing and maintaining a comprehensive Risk Management Framework for the project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing and fulfilling risk management obligations as outlined in the contract
  • Developing and maintaining the Project Risk Management Plan and Risk Register
  • Conducting quantitative risk analysis to evaluate potential impacts on project timelines and budgets
  • Designing and implementing risk mitigation strategies aligning with client protocols and contractual requirements
  • Preparing monthly risk reports for senior management and the client
  • Leading regular risk review workshops with workstream leads and clients
  • Ensuring compliance with ISO 31000 and contractual risk management requirements
  • Monitoring subcontractor risk performance and ensuring adherence to obligations
  • Supporting claims and dispute resolution with risk-based evidence
  • Acting as the primary risk liaison for the client's Risk Manager and internal teams
  • Training project staff on risk awareness tools and best practices

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, IT, or a related discipline
  • Professional qualification or certification in risk management, such as:
    • IRM Certificate or Diploma (Institute of Risk Management)
    • APM Project Risk Management Qualification (PRAMQ)
    • RMP: Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP) certification
    • MoR (Management of Risk) certification
  • Extensive experience managing risks in large, complex rail, construction, or infrastructure projects
