Our client, a leading company in the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking a Hardware Engineer with expertise in IC Design to join their team on a contract basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translating schematic designs into layout designs at transistor, cell, or block level efficiently and accurately to meet project specifications and schedules
- Adhering to design specifications and best practices within mixed-signal IC design
- Completing bespoke analogue, digital, and mixed signal layout designs
- Performing DRC and LVS at transistor and block level design
- Conducting top-level verification
- Beneficial experience includes image sensor/pixel design and working with a broad range of technology nodes
Job Requirements:
- Strong analogue/mixed signal IC layout skills
- Formal qualification in a relevant field, with significant practical experience in complex IC design
- Experience in designing CMOS readout ICs or imaging devices is advantageous
- Clear understanding of layout best practices
- Ability to complete project-specific layout designs efficiently
- Experience in top-level verification and a broad range of technology nodes is beneficial
