Our client, is currently seeking two highly skilled Senior and Principal Engineers to join their team in Reading. With a strong focus on drainage and SuDS, you will play a critical role in shaping transport, flood risk, and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing and implementing drainage strategies, including SuDS and foul pumping systems
• Engaging with local authorities, architects, and planning teams to ensure comprehensive project development
• Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver innovative drainage solutions
• Participating in early phase feasibility studies and outline planning applications for residential and commercial projects
• Providing expert advice on drainage planning and strategy
• Communicating effectively with planners and related professionals to facilitate project approval
• Supporting the civils team in both Reading and Hungerford offices
• Maintaining high levels of client satisfaction to support business retention and growth

Job Requirements:

• Significant experience in drainage design, including SuDS
• In-depth understanding of highway-related drainage systems and infrastructure projects
• Proficiency in working with LLFAs, local councils, and other key stakeholders
• Strong project management skills and ability to oversee planning stage developments
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills
• Ability to work across multiple projects and deliver high-quality outcomes
• Experience in the UK with a focus on residential and commercial projects
• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
