Our client, a prominent organisation within the Defence & Security sector, is seeking a Lead Planning, Monitoring & Control Professional - Controls to join their team on a contract basis. This role is based in Barrow and offers a unique opportunity to work on highly critical projects within the submarine solutions domain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading the planning, monitoring, and control processes for complex projects
- Developing and maintaining project schedules and control structures
- Collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met
- Providing regular project status reports and updates to senior management
- Ensuring compliance with project management standards and practices
- Identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies
- Utilising project management tools and software to track and report on project progress
- Mentoring and guiding junior project professionals within the team
Job Requirements:
