Our client, a leading player in the insurtech sector, is currently seeking Data Engineers of various levels to join their innovative Data team. You will be part of a collaborative group of data & AI engineers, data scientists, developers, analysts, and architects, building modern machine learning and AI services that enable analytics and improve products across the business.

Key Responsibilities:
- Build and support data products within a modern data platform
- Design and deliver solutions with engineering, science, and product teams
- Develop and optimise data pipelines across the analytics platform
- Integrate data from varied sources while maintaining strong data quality standards
- Maintain orchestration, monitoring, reliability, and performance of data components
- Improve engineering processes and raise best practice across the wider data community
- Promote high standards in coding, testing, documentation, and data practices
- Experiment with emerging data, ML, and AI technologies
- Partner with architects on data product and platform designs
- Work collaboratively in cross-functional agile squads
- Support ML and GenAI infrastructure and workflows
Job Requirements:
- Passion for building scalable, resilient cloud data platforms
- Strong experience with Databricks or Snowflake on AWS
- Proven Python skills, including Spark and Airflow expertise
- Advanced SQL and end-to-end data modelling experience
- Experience building batch and real-time data integrations
- Hands-on CI/CD skills with tools such as Git, Jenkins (or similar)
- Ability to ingest, cleanse, and structure large, diverse datasets
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform)
- Nice to have: Docker, Kubernetes
- Bonus: exposure to production Generative AI use cases
- Strong collaboration skills and a proactive, delivery-focused attitude
