Our client is currently seeking a Geotechnical Site Investigation Engineer for a contract position in Yorkshire. With a primary focus on report writing and geotechnical investigations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting geotechnical investigations and data collection at various sites
- Analysing soil, rock, and groundwater data to assess ground conditions
- Preparing comprehensive geotechnical reports with analysis and recommendations
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects
- Participating in risk assessments and providing mitigation strategies
- Ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety regulations
- Managing on-site activities and supervising geotechnical works
- Maintaining accurate project documentation and records
Job Requirements:
- Experience in conducting geotechnical investigations (GI)
- Strong report writing skills and the ability to present findings clearly
- Understanding of geotechnical principles and practices
- Ability to analyse and interpret geological data
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Relevant qualifications in geotechnical engineering or a related field
