Our client is currently seeking a Geotechnical Site Investigation Engineer for a contract position in Yorkshire. With a primary focus on report writing and geotechnical investigations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting geotechnical investigations and data collection at various sites
  • Analysing soil, rock, and groundwater data to assess ground conditions
  • Preparing comprehensive geotechnical reports with analysis and recommendations
  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects
  • Participating in risk assessments and providing mitigation strategies
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety regulations
  • Managing on-site activities and supervising geotechnical works
  • Maintaining accurate project documentation and records

Job Requirements:

  • Experience in conducting geotechnical investigations (GI)
  • Strong report writing skills and the ability to present findings clearly
  • Understanding of geotechnical principles and practices
  • Ability to analyse and interpret geological data
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Relevant qualifications in geotechnical engineering or a related field
