Our client is currently seeking a Site Engineer to join their team on a contract basis. This role is focused on a major water treatment works project, offering an exciting opportunity for professionals with experience in the water industry. The position is potentially outside IR35, subject to assessment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the day-to-day activities of the clean water treatment works project
- Ensuring that all work complies with water industry standards and regulations
- Conducting site inspections and ensuring project timelines are met
- Coordinating with various teams and subcontractors
- Providing technical support and expertise to project teams
- Maintaining accurate site records and documentation
- Ensuring health and safety protocols are strictly followed on site
Job Requirements:
- Experience in civil engineering, specifically within the water industry
- Proficient in site management and supervision
- Strong understanding of water treatment processes and standards
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Relevant qualifications in civil engineering or a related discipline
