Our client is currently seeking a skilled HV Project Engineer to join their team on a contract basis. This role involves working on high-voltage (HV) electrical projects, ensuring successful project delivery and compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing and overseeing HV electrical projects within the water sector
- Ensuring all projects meet technical specifications and safety standards
- Coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution
- Conducting site inspections and assessments to monitor project progress
- Providing technical support and guidance throughout the project lifecycle
- Preparing detailed project documentation, including reports and technical drawings
- Ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget
- Addressing any challenges or issues that arise during project execution
Job Requirements:
- Experience in HV electrical engineering
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and safety protocols
- Proficiency in project management within the water sector
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Relevant qualifications in electrical engineering or a related field
Qualifications:
- UK HV qualification
- HNC/HND/Bsc - Electrical Engineering or similar ideally
- SMSTS
- CSCS
