A specialist contractor in the data centre sector is seeking experienced Electricians for an on-site contract in Zaragoza, Spain. You'll be working on critical electrical infrastructure including switchgear, UPS systems, generators, and circuit breakers.

- Location: Zaragoza, Spain (on-site)
- Start date: Mid-September 2026
- Rate: Up to €50 per hour
- Contract: Short-term contract (approx. 2 weeks initially) with potential to extend depending on project needs
- Hours: 40 hours/week
- Openings: 5
Key responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and fault-find electrical systems in a data centre / industrial environment
- Work on switchgear installation/maintenance and associated activities
- Support UPS systems installation, troubleshooting, and testing
- Diagnose and test generator systems and supporting electrical infrastructure
- Work with circuit breakers and power distribution equipment
- Assist with firmware upgrades where required (relevant electrical equipment)
- Ensure compliance with health & safety standards and site procedures
- Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and the wider team to meet programme deadlines
Requirements
- Approved Electrician certification (or equivalent recognised electrical qualification)
- Strong industrial project experience (data centre experience preferred)
- Hands-on experience with:
- Switchgear
- UPS systems
- Generators
- Circuit breakers
- Strong fault-finding skills and ability to work to site documentation (RAMS / method statements)
- Reliable, safety-first approach and good communication on a live site
