  • Sundays: £32.49 per hour

About the Role

We are recruiting for two Storespersons to join a leading aerospace manufacturer based in Bedhampton. Reporting to the Stores Team Leader, you will play a key role in supporting production by ensuring materials, components, and products are received, stored, issued, packed, and dispatched accurately and efficiently.

This is a hands-on position ideal for someone with warehouse, stores, logistics, or inventory experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment.


Key Responsibilities

Stores & Production Support

  • Pick and issue materials in line with production schedules.
  • Prepare kits and complete batch documentation to maintain full traceability.
  • Accurately select parts from stores locations and record batch numbers.
  • Carry out daily cycle counts and support stock accuracy initiatives.
  • Put away stock correctly, ensuring parts are stored in the appropriate locations.
  • Pick spare parts and support annual stock-take activities.
  • Maintain excellent housekeeping standards using 5S principles.
  • Follow all health, safety, environmental, and manual handling procedures.
  • Monitor daily performance metrics and contribute ideas for process improvements.

Goods Inwards

  • Receive and process incoming deliveries against purchase orders and supplier paperwork.
  • Enter goods receipt information accurately into the ERP system.
  • Assist with unloading and inspecting parts and materials.
  • Investigate and resolve any discrepancies relating to deliveries or quantities received.

Inventory Control

  • Help maintain high levels of inventory accuracy, ensuring parts, quantities, and locations are correctly recorded.
  • Support cycle counting activities and investigate stock variances.
  • Maintain accurate transaction records and traceability throughout the stores process.

Continuous Improvement

  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency and operational performance.

Packing & Dispatch

  • Pack products and spare parts for shipment to the required standards.
  • Complete all relevant shipping documentation accurately and on time.
  • Liaise with dispatch teams to ensure prompt and efficient delivery of orders.

  • Ability to work safely and collaboratively as part of a team.
