Class 2A Building Inspector

Location: Yorkshire (Hybrid Field-Based Role)
Salary: £55,000 per annum + Benefits

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and professional Class 2A Building Inspector to join a growing and supportive team across Yorkshire. You will be responsible for delivering building control inspections and ensuring compliance with current building regulations across a varied portfolio of residential and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake site inspections in accordance with Building Regulations.
  • Review plans and technical submissions.
  • Provide professional advice to clients, contractors, architects, and developers.
  • Produce inspection reports and maintain accurate records.
  • Ensure projects comply with current legislation and regulatory requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Registered Class 2A Building Inspector.
  • Sound knowledge of Building Regulations and associated legislation.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Desire to progress professionally and expand competency levels.
