Our client, a prominent entity in the defence and security sector, is currently seeking a Scrum Master Lead to join their team at Warton Aerodrome. This role is an exciting contract position within the Dreadnought programme, where you will be working at the cutting edge of modern technology alongside highly skilled professionals striving for operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with product owners and stakeholders to refine and maintain a well-defined product backlog
  • Removing impediments to enable the development team to focus on work or guiding them to remove obstacles by identifying the right personnel to assist
  • Using data from the development team to identify areas of success and improvement
  • Assessing the Scrum maturity of the team and organisation, and coaching them to higher levels of maturity sustainably
  • Building a trusting and safe environment where issues can be raised without fear of blame, with a focus on problem-solving

Job Requirements:

  • Significant experience in using Lean/Agile/Traditional techniques and methodologies
  • Proven track record of working in agile teams
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) qualification
  • Strong leadership skills capable of managing multiple Scrum teams
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficient in using toolsets such as Atlassian suite, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changing circumstances and find innovative solutions to challenges

Further Information:


This contract role will be based on-site for 3 days per week, with a duration expected to last 12 months. Security Clearance (SC) and UK EYES ONLY clearance are required due to the nature of the project.
