An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor (MEP) to join a specialist Building Services team delivering complex projects across Data Centres, Commercial Buildings, Education and Defence.
This is an ideal role for a commercially minded Quantity Surveyor who wants exposure to technically challenging MEP projects while working alongside experienced commercial and operational teams.

The Opportunity


You'll play a key role in supporting the commercial delivery of major projects, helping manage costs, procurement, subcontractor packages, reporting and project performance from inception through to completion.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the commercial delivery of MEP projects across multiple sectors
  • Assisting with procurement, tender analysis and subcontractor selection
  • Preparing and monitoring cost reports, cash flows and forecasting
  • Supporting valuation and payment application processes
  • Monitoring project costs against budget and identifying risks
  • Assisting with contract administration and commercial documentation
  • Supporting the management of variations and subcontractor accounts
  • Producing financial reports and maintaining commercial records
  • Working closely with project teams to ensure successful project outcomes

What We're Looking For

  • Previous Quantity Surveying experience within construction or building services
  • Exposure to MEP, infrastructure, commercial or mission critical projects is advantageous
  • Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
  • Experience assisting with procurement and subcontractor management
  • Ability to produce accurate reports and financial information
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Ambition to develop within a growing commercial team
