An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor (MEP) to join a specialist Building Services team delivering complex projects across Data Centres, Commercial Buildings, Education and Defence.
This is an ideal role for a commercially minded Quantity Surveyor who wants exposure to technically challenging MEP projects while working alongside experienced commercial and operational teams.
The Opportunity
You'll play a key role in supporting the commercial delivery of major projects, helping manage costs, procurement, subcontractor packages, reporting and project performance from inception through to completion.
Responsibilities
- Supporting the commercial delivery of MEP projects across multiple sectors
- Assisting with procurement, tender analysis and subcontractor selection
- Preparing and monitoring cost reports, cash flows and forecasting
- Supporting valuation and payment application processes
- Monitoring project costs against budget and identifying risks
- Assisting with contract administration and commercial documentation
- Supporting the management of variations and subcontractor accounts
- Producing financial reports and maintaining commercial records
- Working closely with project teams to ensure successful project outcomes
What We're Looking For
- Previous Quantity Surveying experience within construction or building services
- Exposure to MEP, infrastructure, commercial or mission critical projects is advantageous
- Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
- Experience assisting with procurement and subcontractor management
- Ability to produce accurate reports and financial information
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ambition to develop within a growing commercial team
