Overview

NATS is seeking a Project Manager to join their team on a contract basis. You'll lead and coordinate implementation of the CPT resource management approach, ensuring supply and demand are balanced, governance is effective, and programme teams adopt consistent planning and prioritisation practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement and embed the resource management approach across all strategic outcomes in line with agreed timelines
    * Lead change adoption, including stakeholder engagement, training and behavioural embedding across programmes
    * Manage resource contention across outcomes, supporting Programme Leads and providing prioritisation recommendations
    * Support Outcome Resource Boards (ORB) to surface risks, constraints and decisions
    * Drive consistent adoption of demand management, prioritisation and reporting standards
    * Deliver all project activities in line with NATS Management System and Project Management processes
    * Ensure robust estimation, challenge and validation of resource demand and supporting information
    * Develop and maintain schedule, reporting and risk management artefacts
    * Deliver agreed milestones to time, cost and quality expectations
    * Ensure clarity of roles, responsibilities and behaviours, and address non-compliance effectively
    * Act as key interface with stakeholders across CPT, outcomes and work centres
    * Communicate effectively to drive engagement and understanding
    * Build strong relationships across internal and external stakeholders

Skillset/experience required:

  • Strong project management delivery experience (governance, planning, reporting, RAID)
    * Proven stakeholder engagement and change adoption / behavioural embedding experience
    * Experience balancing resource supply/demand and resolving contention across multiple workstreams/programmes
    * Comfortable working with prioritisation, demand management and planning standards in a structured environment
