Systems Engineering Opportunity - Defence Technology
Join a multidisciplinary systems engineering team supporting the development and enhancement of advanced defence systems across a range of complex programmes.
Working within a software and performance-focused team, you'll contribute to system upgrades, capability enhancements and technology evolution programmes, ensuring solutions remain effective, secure and fit for future operational requirements.
The role spans the full system lifecycle, including:
- Requirements elicitation and management
- System architecture development, justification and traceability
- Interface definition and management
- Verification, validation and certification planning
- Performance analysis and modelling
- Technical reviews and stakeholder engagement
- Cross-functional coordination across software, hardware, modelling and simulation teams
You'll collaborate with a wide range of engineering disciplines to deliver capability improvements, support critical design decisions and shape future system developments. There is also scope to lead specific work packages or delivery activities for the right individual.
We're looking for:
- Systems Engineering experience across requirements, architecture, verification and validation activities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience producing clear, concise technical documentation
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- A passion for developing systems engineering best practice
- The ability to quickly understand new technologies and complex technical domains
