Senior Procurement & Supply Chain Manager (Performance Management)

Hybrid | Manchester/London Travel Required

6 month Contract | Inside IR35

We're supporting a leading infrastructure organisation in the search for a Senior Procurement & Supply Chain Manager to lead supplier performance management and continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain.

This is a strategic, stakeholder-focused role, responsible for driving Supplier Relationship Management (SRM), enhancing supplier performance, improving processes and reporting, and leveraging digital tools to deliver business value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead supplier performance reviews and continuous improvement programmes.
  • Manage supplier KPIs, dashboards and performance reporting.
  • Develop and enhance SRM frameworks, processes and systems.
  • Drive digitisation and automation initiatives across supplier management activities.
  • Embed sustainability, safety and compliance measures into supplier performance frameworks.
  • Partner with stakeholders across the business to promote best practice.
  • Deliver training, guidance and reporting to senior leadership.

Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years' experience within Procurement, Supply Chain or Supplier Relationship Management.
  • Strong supplier performance management and stakeholder engagement experience.
  • Proven ability to drive change, process improvement and performance optimisation.
  • Strong analytical, reporting and data management skills.
  • Experience utilising digital tools and systems within procurement or supply chain functions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and influencing skills.

Desirable

  • Infrastructure sector experience.
  • KPI development and performance measurement expertise.
  • Knowledge of procurement systems and cloud-based platforms.
  • Understanding of sourcing, contracting and supplier management processes.
  • Experience working within complex matrix organisations.

Qualifications

  • Qualification in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business or equivalent experience.
  • Professional membership (e.g. CIPS) desirable.
