Our client is currently seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join their team on a contract basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to apply your expertise in infrastructure projects, focusing on both residential and commercial developments, as well as utilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading and managing civil engineering projects with an emphasis on infrastructure
- Utilising InfoDrainage & Civil 3D for project design and implementation
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality project outcomes
- Providing technical guidance and support to junior engineers
- Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Preparing detailed reports, data analysis, and design documentation
- Attending site visits and client meetings as required
- Maintaining strong client relationships through effective communication and service delivery
Job Requirements:
- Significant experience in civil engineering
- Proficient in using InfoDrainage & Civil 3D software
- Strong understanding of infrastructure development, including residential and commercial projects
- Excellent project management skills and the ability to work independently and within a team
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Flexibility to work 1 or 2 days per week in the office
- A relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification
Contract Details:
- 6-month rolling contract
- 37.5 hours per week, with options for flexible working arrangements
