Site Manager - Water Treatment Projects (Severn Trent)
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Site Manager to oversee the safe and successful delivery of water treatment works projects across the Severn Trent Water framework.
You will be responsible for:
- Day-to-day management of water treatment site activities
- Supervising direct labour, subcontractors, and site operatives
- Ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to the required quality standards
- Maintaining compliance with HSEQ policies and Severn Trent Water procedures
- Coordinating site logistics, materials, and programme activities
- Conducting site inspections, toolbox talks, and progress reporting
- Working closely with Project Managers, engineers, and client representatives
Essential:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager delivering water treatment or wastewater treatment projects
- Previous experience working on Severn Trent Water, AMP frameworks, or other UK water utility projects
- Strong understanding of civil, mechanical, and process installations within treatment works
- SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications
- Excellent leadership, communication, and subcontractor management skills
- Knowledge of HSEQ requirements within the water sector
