Our client, a reputable organisation in the T & D sector, is currently seeking a Senior Engineer for a contract position at the Willesden Substation. This initial 3-month contract is part of a larger 2-year project, contributing to significant advancements within the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing and coordinating temporary works in line with project requirements
- Setting out and ensuring all site engineering activities comply with regulations
- Acting as the Temporary Works Coordinator (TWC) for the project
- Implementing and monitoring NG Persons protocols and safety measures
- Liaising with project teams to ensure seamless integration of engineering tasks
- Problem-solving and providing technical advice as required
- Maintaining accurate records and reports on project progress
- Ensuring all engineering activities adhere to industry standards and best practices
Job Requirements:
- Significant experience as a Senior Engineer within the T & D sector
- Proven capability as a Temporary Works Coordinator
- Strong skills in setting out and site engineering
- Understanding of NG Persons protocols
- Excellent problem-solving and technical advisory skills
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative project team environment
- Detail-oriented with strong record-keeping and reporting abilities
- Relevant engineering qualification or equivalent experience
