We are currently recruiting for a skilled CMM Inspector to join a well-established manufacturing business. This role is ideal for an experienced inspector with hands-on experience operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and using PC-DMIS software to inspect precision-engineered components.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring products meet customer and quality requirements through accurate dimensional inspection and reporting.

Please note: experience operating CMM equipment and using PC-DMIS software is an essential requirement for this position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate CMM equipment using PC-DMIS software.
  • Run and adjust inspection routines to verify component conformity.
  • Carry out dimensional inspection of manufactured parts against engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Record and report inspection results accurately.
  • Identify non-conforming products and escalate quality concerns where required.
  • Support production teams in maintaining quality standards.
  • Ensure inspection activities are completed in line with company procedures and customer requirements.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area while adhering to health and safety standards.

Essential Requirements

  • Previous experience operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM).
  • Experience using PC-DMIS software is essential.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Understanding of dimensional inspection techniques and measurement principles.
  • Experience working within a manufacturing, engineering, aerospace, automotive or precision engineering environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
