Working within a large-scale transformation programme, you will partner with Product Managers, Product Owners, Delivery Leads, Scrum Masters, and key business stakeholders to embed product-centric delivery practices and accelerate team maturity.
This is a hands-on coaching role focused on enabling teams to move from traditional project delivery approaches to high-performing, outcome-driven product teams.

Key Responsibilities

Product Operating Model Mobilisation

  • Support the rollout and embedding of the Product Operating Model across multiple product teams.
  • Coach teams on product-led ways of working, governance, accountability, and decision-making.
  • Help establish effective product team structures, role clarity, responsibilities, and team charters.
  • Ensure alignment between product teams, programme governance, and enterprise delivery standards.
  • Collaborate with Product and Agile Coaches to identify and resolve cross-team challenges and dependencies.

Backlog & Planning Excellence

  • Coach teams on backlog management, prioritisation, refinement, and value-based decision-making.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of Epics, Features, and User Stories.
  • Promote effective estimation, planning practices, and capacity management.
  • Help teams develop outcome-focused roadmaps and embrace iterative delivery approaches.

Agile Ways of Working & Tooling

  • Drive adoption of Agile frameworks, ceremonies, and continuous improvement practices.
  • Support effective utilisation of Azure DevOps and associated delivery processes.
  • Coach teams on backlog hierarchies, workflow management, reporting, and Agile metrics.
  • Encourage standardisation of templates, artefacts, and delivery practices across teams.

Stakeholder Engagement & Capability Building

  • Facilitate workshops, planning sessions, retrospectives, and coaching engagements.
  • Build Product and Agile capability across teams and stakeholders.
  • Influence senior leaders and delivery teams alike to support successful organisational change.
  • Provide delivery assurance and guidance throughout the transformation lifecycle.

Essential Experience

  • Proven experience as a Product Coach, Product Owner, Product Owner Support, Delivery Coach, Agile Coach, or Transformation Coach.
  • Strong understanding of Product Management, Agile delivery methodologies, and organisational change.
  • Experience coaching multiple teams simultaneously within complex transformation programmes.
  • Excellent facilitation, communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar Agile delivery tooling.
  • Ability to operate effectively from senior leadership level through to delivery teams.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience within the Utilities or Electricity industry.
  • Previous involvement in Product Operating Model transformations.
  • Knowledge of SAFe, Lean Portfolio Management, or other scaled Agile frameworks.
