Our client, is seeking a Senior Development Coordinator to join their team on a contract basis. This role involves leading and managing large-scale development projects, including schemes consisting of a couple of thousand dwellings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading and overseeing large-scale development projects within the highways sector
- Providing expert guidance and leadership on complex projects, ensuring the team can handle the detailed work
- Ensuring effective development control and adherence to relevant policies and standards
- Utilising traffic modelling software such as VISUM, SATURN, and other related tools for project planning and analysis
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to ensure project success
- Conducting thorough assessments and reviews of development proposals and their impacts on the highway network
- Maintaining clear and effective communication with all project stakeholders
- Managing project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively
Job Requirements:
- Extensive experience in highway development and control
- Proven track record in leading large-scale development projects
- Expertise in traffic modelling and familiarity with tools such as VISUM and SATURN
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Strong understanding of relevant highway policies and standards
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
