Our client, is currently seeking a Drainage Design Engineer to join their team on a contractual basis. This role, focusing on drainage and floodwater management, is critical to the successful delivery of various drainage schemes for a diverse range of clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and delivering a variety of drainage schemes
- Producing site reports, civil engineering designs, calculations, and civil 3D models
- Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members
- Ensuring the accuracy and reliability of design information
- Collaborating with internal teams and clients to deliver project requirements
Job Requirements:
- Experience in drainage and flood risk management
- Competence in using software such as Causeway Flow, InfoDrainage, and AutoCAD
- Strong technical and analytical skills
- Ability to produce detailed civil engineering designs and calculations
- Understanding of civil 3D modelling
- Valid driving licence (Category B) and flexibility for hybrid working
- Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities
Additional Information:
- Typical hours: 37 hours per week
- Hybrid role: 2 days in Winchester offices, 3 days remote
- Start date: 7th September 2026
- DBS check not required
