Senior Online Surveyor (x2) - Contract Opportunity
We are seeking 2 Senior Online Surveyors for a contract position supporting offshore environmental operations in UK waters. This requirement has arisen due to the unexpected unavailability of current personnel. The role is scheduled to commence in October.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide positioning support during 24-hour environmental operations in UK waters.
- Operate C-Nav GNSS and Kongsberg uPAP USBL systems.
- Maintain acquisition logs and assist with back deck operations, including fixing USBL beacons.
- Support winch and A-frame operations.
- Provide technical survey support using QINSY, including setup and management of survey data.
- Support Drop Down Video and grab sampling operations.
Requirements
- Significant experience in offshore wind farm survey operations.
- Strong working knowledge of QINSY, including Survey Manager, database management and logfile management.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Experience operating C-Nav GNSS and Kongsberg uPAP USBL systems.
- Ability to assist with back deck operations, including winch and A-frame activities.
