Our client, a leading organisation in the aerospace MRO sector, is currently seeking an experienced B1 Licensed Engineer to join their Maintenance Organisation team in a permanent role. This position offers an exciting opportunity to take on the role of B1 Base Certifying Engineer and contribute to the high standards of aircraft maintenance within the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervision of non-licensed personnel
- Removal or installation of aircraft components as required
- Support with mechanical or electrical removals and installations as needed
- Certifying B1 Base/Modification work completed on Beech 200 and 300 aircraft
- Ensuring compliance with Maintenance Organisation procedures and standards
- Understanding and certifying tasks in accordance with documentation, including ADs and SBs
- Recording and notifying any inaccurate, incomplete or ambiguous procedures
- Providing feedback on improvements, efficiencies, and enhancements to the Head of Maintenance
- Oversight and management of junior staff members, including input to appraisals
- Supporting the development and delivery of the strategic plan
- Actively contributing to the safety management system and promoting aviation safety
Job Requirements:
- Unrestricted UK CAA Part 66 B1 Licence, ideally with King Air 200 or 300 type ratings
- Recent demonstrable experience on Beech 200 and 300 aircraft
- Excellent team player with strong communication skills
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
