Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing maintenance activities on aircraft batteries in accordance with safety and airport regulations
  • Ensuring maintenance is conducted to the highest standards using all relevant technical data
  • Completing all paperwork accurately and promptly
  • Managing and ensuring calibration of tools used in the battery shop
  • Maintaining the cleanliness and adherence to 5S standards in the battery shop
  • Communicating effectively with internal and external customers regarding progress
  • Creating Work Orders in the ERP system, filling out job cards, and editing Batteries Release to Service Certificates
  • Promoting Safety Management System (SMS) and reporting systems

Job Requirements:

  • Significant experience in aircraft maintenance
  • Ability to carry out maintenance work in compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Proficiency in using various tools and ensuring their calibration
  • Strong communication skills for customer interactions
  • Understanding of Component Maintenance Manual (CMM) and company procedures
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to work in various shift patterns, including night shifts and weekends
  • Willingness to accept training for a more effective contribution to the organisation
