Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage highway engineering projects, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement innovative design solutions
- Prepare and review technical reports, specifications, and drawings
- Provide expert advice on highways design standards and best practices
- Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and contractors to ensure project requirements are met
- Mentor and support junior engineers and graduates within the team
- Contribute to business development through technical input and client relationship management
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and regulatory changes
Job Requirements:
- Substantial experience in highways engineering and infrastructure projects
- Strong understanding of engineering design principles and relevant software
- Proficiency in project management and delivery
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving capabilities
- Experience working on developer work, local authority work, and capital projects
- Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification
