Our client, a pioneering engineering consultancy, is currently seeking a Site Services Manager to join their team in Great Chesterford, Essex. This permanent role is pivotal in maintaining, repairing, and supporting all site facilities, utilities, and services, ensuring the smooth and safe operation of the site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing both reactive and preventative maintenance to minimise downtime
- Liaising with contractors and overseeing improvement projects
- Supporting operational teams by ensuring site facilities function effectively
- Managing the Site Services budget and conducting all related purchasing
- Ensuring compliance with H&S, building and fire regulations
- Handling diverse maintenance and installation projects across multiple building services systems (HVAC, heating, water treatment, etc.)
- Maintaining precise site records and administrative duties
- Managing a small team with excellent line management skills
Job Requirements:
- Qualified electrician with extensive experience in varied maintenance and installation projects
- Significant experience in site management
- Knowledge of multiple building services systems such as HVAC, heating, water treatment, and fire safety
- Strong line management and communication skills
- Creative problem solver with a proactive, hands-on approach
- Solid administrative skills
