Our client, a key player in the highways sector, is seeking two experienced Site Supervisors to join the team on a contract basis. The role focuses on delivering the East Lancashire Levelling Up Programme, an exciting project awarded £49.6 million from the Department for Transport. This initiative involves public realm and safety improvements across several residential areas and town centres in East Lancashire.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertaking the role of NEC Supervisor
- Assisting NEC Project Managers
- Undertaking roles within CDM 2015 Regulations
- Co-ordinating with third parties involved in the works
- Facilitating the communication process with stakeholders
- Collaborating in the preparation of contract documents and Works Information for tendering
- Working closely with construction partners to proactively manage quality
- Reporting on construction and quality issues
- Actively identifying potential construction issues or lack of clarity in the scope and providing design support
Job Requirements:
- Significant experience in highway supervision
- Strong understanding of the NEC Supervisor role
- Expertise in CDM 2015 Regulations
- Excellent coordination and communication skills
- Ability to liaise efficiently with third parties and stakeholders
- Experience in preparing contract documents and Works Information for tendering
- Proactive approach to managing construction quality
- Exceptional problem-solving skills to identify and resolve construction issues
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
