Our client, a prominent player in the water industry, is currently seeking an experienced Design Manager/Design Lead to join their team, focusing on Yorkshire Water Wastewater Non Infra AMP8 projects. This is a contract-based position offering full remote work, allowing you to contribute effectively from anywhere. The role is part-time, requiring commitment for 3 days a week and falls inside IR35 regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading and managing the design phase of wastewater non-infra projects under the AMP8 framework.
- Overseeing the preparation and delivery of high-quality civil engineering designs.
- Ensuring designs comply with Yorkshire Water standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborating with project teams, stakeholders, and clients to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Conducting design reviews and providing technical guidance to team members.
- Managing project timelines and ensuring deliverables are met within the specified timeframe.
- Implementing best practices and innovative solutions to enhance project delivery.
- Maintaining documentation and records in line with industry standards and company policies.
Job Requirements:
