Rate: £40.36ph UMB (Inside IR35)
Night Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off - 10:00pm start and 8:30am finish
Candidates must hold active SC clearance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting test and fault diagnosis of complex system-level products in a high-technology aerospace and defence manufacturing environment.
- Identifying and pursuing solutions to issues related to test equipment, test methods, and test documentation.
- Interpreting and adhering to test specifications, technical drawings, and circuit diagrams.
- Executing Electrical Safety Testing, Product Acceptance Testing, Vibration & Thermal testing, and RF testing.
- Maintaining effective and proactive communication with Project, Quality, and Engineering functions.
- Ensuring standard handover procedures and effective communication are applied across all products.
- Managing designated 5S areas in line with daily, weekly, and monthly sign-off sheets.
- Collaborating closely with Systems and Electronics engineers to solve integration problems on complex systems.
Job Requirements:
- Desirable: HND or above in system, electrical, or RF engineering.
- Strong understanding of measurement and test principles, and equipment.
- Knowledge of safety precautions and standard working practices.
- Experience in applying statistical process control (SPC) for fault and trend diagnosis within a production environment.
- Experience working in clean rooms, with an understanding of their importance to job quality, good dexterity, and attention to detail.
