About the Role...
We are seeking an experienced SAP Developer to join a dynamic Digital Technology team responsible for delivering and supporting enterprise application solutions across UK business operations. This role plays a key part in maintaining and enhancing SAP systems, supporting business-critical processes, and delivering innovative solutions that drive operational excellence.
Working within a collaborative technology environment, you will be involved in the full application lifecycle, from requirements gathering and development through to testing, deployment, and ongoing support.
Key Responsibilities...
- Develop, enhance, and maintain SAP applications and integrations.
- Support ERP ABAP development activities across the business.
- Analyse business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Work with functional and business stakeholders to deliver system improvements and new capabilities.
- Perform application testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
- Support system configurations, enhancements, and upgrades.
- Integrate SAP with other enterprise applications and platforms.
- Ensure solutions are delivered in line with industry best practices and quality standards.
- Participate in the ongoing support and optimisation of business-critical applications.
About You...
We're looking for a proactive and technically skilled SAP professional who enjoys solving complex business challenges and working closely with stakeholders across the organisation.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Experience developing and supporting SAP applications.
- Strong ABAP programming skills.
- Experience across the full software development lifecycle.
- Knowledge of SAP R/3 or SAP ECC environments.
- Experience gathering and analysing business requirements.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience testing, implementing, and supporting enterprise applications.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Desirable:
- Experience integrating SAP with third-party applications.
- Understanding of enterprise architecture and business processes.
- Experience working within large, complex organisations.
- Knowledge of SAP migration or transformation projects.
