Our client is currently seeking two interim Traffic Regulation Order (TRO) Consultants for a contract position within their Highways team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the effective management of traffic and highways.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drafting and implementing Traffic Regulation Orders (TROs) with a primary focus on parking orders
- Providing expertise in the management of speed orders and moving traffic orders
- Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure compliance and effective traffic management
- Supporting the junior team members in their development and ensuring high-quality output
Job Requirements:
- Experience in traffic management and highway regulations
- Proven ability to draft and manage Traffic Regulation Orders (TROs)
- Knowledge of parking orders, with additional experience in speed orders and moving traffic orders being advantageous
- Strong understanding of traffic and highway legislation
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Flexibility regarding office attendance, with potential for a more remote arrangement for exceptional candidates
