Our client, a well-established global organisation in the engineering sector, is currently seeking a Benefits & Pensions Consultant to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to build and broaden your experience in a complex environment where your contribution will truly make a difference.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Report to the Benefits and Pensions Manager, supporting the delivery and governance of the UK & Ireland Defined Contribution pension arrangements, including provider coordination, compliance tracking, and pension administration support
  • Own all pension-related activity within the benefits portal, provider relationships, bi-weekly account meetings with benefits platform provider, and annual renewal activity
  • Manage day-to-day pension operations, working with brokers, pension administrators, and the internal Benefits Operations teams, and handling escalated member queries
  • Assist with the preparation and maintenance of governance documentation, reporting, and operational trackers across DC pensions and wider UK & Europe benefits as appropriate
  • Provide operational support across UK & Europe benefits programmes, including health, protection, and wellbeing, as directed by the Benefits and Pensions Manager
  • Support financial wellbeing activities, including coordinating educational sessions, communications, and provider-led events
  • Support the administration of life assurance schemes and death-in-service claims and oversee the annual Bonus Waiver process
  • Contribute to pensions, benefits, and financial wellbeing communications and engagement, ensuring alignment with wider benefits communication timelines

Job Requirements:

  • Understanding of Defined Contribution pensions including auto-enrolment rules, retirement options, and governance framework
  • Experience working in pensions, benefits, HR, or a related area, with an interest in developing further
  • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain concepts clearly and support employee queries
  • Experience using benefits platforms or similar systems is desirable but not essential
