Overview
NATS is seeking an experienced Project Manager to plan, budget, execute and deliver allocated projects in a regulated, critical national infrastructure environment. You'll be responsible for delivery to time, cost and quality, and for engaging stakeholders across internal teams, customers and suppliers.
Responsibilities:
* Plan, budget, report, execute, and deliver allocated projects
* Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required specification
* Prepare staff and business areas for new ways of working
* Manage virtual teams via matrix management and line manage members of the Project Delivery Team
* Follow the appropriate governance for projects within scope, working within the regulatory framework of a licensed critical national infrastructure organisation
* Support Project Delivery Practice management tasks when required, such as the Project Managers Working Group
* Demonstrate the appropriate client behaviours and ensure continuous professional development
* Ensure the appropriate Operational Safety and Health & Safety activities have been undertaken on the project/s
Skillset/experience required:
* Project Management qualification (APM PMQ/APM or equivalent) is essential
* STEM degree and/or extensive experience in a management role (Project/Programme Management), demonstrating strong leadership, is essential
* Experience and knowledge of delivery and integration of complex projects is essential
* Strong commercial relationships with customers and suppliers, with an understanding of contract management
* Knowledge of current and evolving Project Management processes and methodologies
* Excellent interpersonal skills and judgement with internal/external stakeholders
* Ability to understand business drivers and manage projects to deliver the business need
